Lee Westwood, wandering around Augusta at even par, just tweeted before his tee time that today was moving day. Traditionally, as Ken Venturi might tell you, moving day is on Saturday. I tend to agree with Westwood – at least the way this tournament is shaping up.

K.J. Choi leads the tournament at 8-under at noon on Friday, but I’d rather be in Charl Schwartzel’s shows. First, for obvious reasons. No one could pronounce my name. Secondly, I’d be finished my round before 1:00 and get to see everyone else come in. Schwartzel will finish at or around 4-under. That’s a fun number to post and see where the day takes us.

Phil Mickelson needs to get it together. The defending champion continues to pinball between 3-under and 1-over and he’s still on the first nine.

UPDATE: I’ve been pressed into service to produce the 6:00 newscast. Sadly, no more updates today. Will have a wrap-up on Sunday or Monday.
