A pitch after they pumped in the artificial chant of “CHARGE!” into the Oriole Park seating bowl, Adam Jones obliged. Blistering a fastball to the base of the right field scoreboard, Jones leads his day off with a double and moves Nick Markakis to third base. Aubrey Huff reverts back to his 2007 season with a lethargic strikeout for the second out of the inning. Oscar Salazar ends the threat after Evan Longoria makes an above average play at third and throws to first for the final out of the inning.
