Scoring Day At Augusta

It’s fairly obvious that if you want to get in the hunt in the Masters tournament this year, you need to fire a 67 or better on Friday. It’s only 11:30 and we have two co-leaders at 6-under-par. Trevor Immelman just birdied the 11th hole as Brandt Snedeker makes the turn at -6.

Phil Mickelson starts off his Friday round with par-birdie-birdie to move three shots back of the lead. Steve Flesch cards an eagle at 13 to get to 4-under and will probably post the first low number of the round today.

Brian Bateman, just a shot back entering round two, just made a double bogey to fall to +1 with two holes left in his second round. Bateman just wants to hold on, make a few pars and hope he can stick around for the weekend.

Those in danger of missing the cut: Sergio Garcia (+4 thru 6), Tim Clark (+7 thru 8), Tom Watson (+8 thru 9) and Woody Austin (+8 thru 6).
