Nothing Could Be Finer

Now that everyone is wacko for Flacco after the sophomore quarterback dazzled in a 17-13 Ravens win on Saturday night in Carolina, I’d like to bring everyone back for a reality check.

It amazes me that when we don’t see consistent football for weeks, people start to think that mediocre games come across as epic tilts. The general consensus of my Facebook friend this morning reads like Hemmingway novel on how last night’s Ravens game “looked more like a regular season game than a preseason game.”
